Matter-Specific AI Rules

Clients may have specific demands regarding your AI usage; enter and refer to these demands in Clio matters.

Clients may demand that their data be handled in a stricter approach than that presented in the firm’s AI policy. These demands may relate to the AI tools that GP may use in interacting with client data and the extent to which client information may be analyzed with AI, in addition to other requirements. Client demands that call for a more confidential approach to data handling than the approach presented in the firm’s AI policy take precedent over the firm’s AI policy.

Client demands should be entered into the relevant Clio matter. Entering matter-specific demands into Clio ensures that all involved colleagues and assistants are aware of the demands.

When unsure of how you should adjust your AI approach to fulfill a client’s demands, contact Tarik Hennen, GP’s Head of AI, at [email protected].
